FAUX PILLARS
Faux pillars are purely decorative elements that add value to the environment. Pillars (square or rectangular) or columns (circular or elliptical) in general call for a more classic treatment; however, the round elements lately tend to become square and with a slightly cleaner and finer finish.
Our goal with faux pillars is to bring sobriety to the environment not previously achieved with too simple lines or excessively stripped environments. The false pillars can be used in room centers, corners, or semi-embedded in walls. In both cases, the insertion of these elements gives a more luxurious and elegant appearance to the environments, in addition to contributing to the property's value.
It is important to note that they are not elements of easy aesthetic insertion and that their presence can drastically change the intent of the design; therefore, their use is generally recommended for cases where the client is sure about their application. Other recommendations are for cases in which you want to break the monotony of straight lines, giving emphasis to the element. Are you thinking about this idea? Schedule a visit!
