SMOOTH FINISH
Smooth finish: The smooth finish can be done in several levels. Generally, a painted wall achieves a satisfactory level of smoothness after the application of a thin layer of drywall compound, if your painting is only on the first level and it was applied with spray, in cases of new properties, they probably already have the satisfactory amount of paint for the application of a new layer of paint with rollers.
On the other hand, there are cases where the walls are compromised with the degradation of drywalls and for these cases, we can opt for thicker patch up or in extremely cases the replacement or overlaying of drywalls. Specific cases such as works with fine carpentry with usage of smooth panels in MDF, can enhance even more the quality of the job. Surfaces of baseboards, crown moldings and chair rails already have a good smooth base for the application of sprays and rollers. Brushes, with mixture of additives, simulate the finish of sprays and can the done since it’s applied properly.
